"Handcrafted Happiness"

Hola mi Familia y Amigos...(please understand that I took German in high school and am an English-speaking missionary, so if that is wrong, I apologize)

Anywho, lots of little things this week: we delivered cool wreaths that Sister Darling made, we helped Sister Carlson feed her goats, we invited a TON of people to church and Lacey and Christina came for the first time like ever. The picture of the three littles is from when we went to the Lukes. I made Sophie, Cameron, and Caden name tags and they had to tell us what missionary thing they did to earn their tag :) Sister Cate offered to let us use her Estonian rabbit fur hat if we get cold lol. The Godfreys gave us GARRET'S POPCORN literally the day after I was telling Sister Tenney about it. Also, IT SNOWED.. so Christmas can come now :)

Brad gets home from treatment today and he and Amanda are doing very well, its a very Merry Christmas indeed.

Other potential subject lines from this week: "Let your grammar nazi go nuts over that!" -Sister Walker. Yup, she loves me. "I love us". Guys, Sister Walker and I are like a comedic duo. It's so much fun. It. Has. Been. A week. We've had quite a bit of snow too, which cause some issues with commuting places.. and seeing how our two areas are full of small towns that are in the hills, its caused a kink in our plans (thumbs up). BUT, all is well because leading up to the catastrophic "snowmageddon" as they are calling it, were a ton of Miracles! Alrighty y'all take a seat, strap in, grab some popcorn. I got lots to share. So, Monday night, it snowed a bunch, so we did District Council over FB video chat, which was fun lol, there was a lag, so the hymn singing was WAY OFF, but it was good. Okay, yes I'm a terrible person, I sent you all those pictures with absolutely no explanation. So get comfortable, here's two weeks worth... EXPLANATION OF LAST WEEKS PICTURES: -SUPER bomb ice cream at East Wind Drive-In in Cascade Locks(Oregon, yep its still weird).. and that was the small -delish tacos from a taco truck(I ate tongue!) -McKenzie's skunk Bumper. he is their pet, and she snuggles with him. They have 2 skunks, 3 possums, a couple raccoons, and a couple deer, as well as 3 dogs, and a couple cats... -Car numero uno is Guapo(our car), car numero dos is Gordo(The Dalles elders car). We had to trade for a couple of days and they took Guapo up to Yakima for some work.. its good to have him home -oh, and Sister Walker eating a cinnamon roll(that McKenzie's dad made) faster than humanly possible Now for this week :) Zone Conference on Tuesday, which was phenomenal, like usual. We have another mission meeting in a few weeks and all the departing mission...

Hi Friends! (funny story at the end, so bear with me) We carved pumpkins last Pday, super fun. Sister Zollinger did the Logan temple. look up a picture of the Logan Temple to see how good she did, it's way impressive. We had exchanges on Wednesday!!! my first exchange! I was sooo nervous, but it actually went really well, a lot better than I thought it would at least. Sister Zollinger went with sister McCourt to a different area and Sister Banks came to Terrace heights and I had to take over Terrace Heights, cause Sister Banks didn't know where anything was or who our people are. I was terrified. Plus, pretty much everything I know about being a missionary has to do with Sister Zollinger in some way, shape, of form, so doing all of this with someone different was highly stressful. I t was good preparation for transfers, because as much as I hate to say it, there will come a time when Sister Zollinger and I are no longer companion.. *gasp* I know, I know, scary. Exchanges a...
