"right!..Straight!!..LEFT!!!"

Hey, hey, hey! Alright, funny story first: Sister Cannell, one of the other sisters we live with was sick all day Friday, so Sister Jensen and I ran errands for them when we could. They had ordered a pizza to take for the birthday dinner of someone they have been working with, so we were sent to pick it up for them. now, keep in mind, we'd been laughing deliriously all day, so we were prepped and ready for whatever adventure Sister Jensen's driving had to give us. We were leaving the parking lot of the pizza place and she hates turning left onto busy roads, so I was trying to get her to go straight into the other parking lot and then she could turn around and go right onto the road, but she wanted to turn right and loop around the block. I kept watching telling her when she could go and right when she was about to turn right, she'd pause, and have to wait longer. Finally it was clear, so she was prepped and ready to turn right, then after a split second, she shouts, "

Hi Friends! crazy, hectic, eventful week. such is life. We set lots of goals this week to, and we're doing well. I don't want to just send a bunch of vague, semi-optimistic phrases, so here's a specific event: We saw the coolest miracle yesterday because of technology + the Spirit. When we got our phones set up on  Friday , there was record of two people of whom we had never heard of, and likely wouldn't have for awhile without ABP. so last night, our plans had fallen through and we were trying to figure out what to do/where to go and Sister Jensen(genius that she is in listening to promptings) suggests that we go by these people, I felt good about it, so off we went in search of their house. We knocked and the woman stepped out and talked about her previous interactions with the missionaries and her previous experiences with church and what caused her to stop attending church. We talked about the Book of Mormon and receiving an answer for herself and she tol

"goin' to the temple and we're, gonna get baptized.."

Hi Friends! Lots and lots happened this week, and it feels like each week I have less and less time to share it! Gah. We met with one of Juttas friends this week, she called us and said she thought he might be interested. He wasn't very interested after all, at least, not in what we had to share. It was really rough on Jutta having someone she'd known for so long turn around and try to tear her down, but it reminded me of something that Bishop shared with us that had been in a teacher training meeting they had. "We teach by light waves, not by sound waves". It's so true too. We can talk their ear off and flap our jaws all the day long, but its not going to do anyone any good if they aren't open to it and seeking for the Light that Christ can be in our lives. Seek for it y'all, its there. We went and visited Lelani at the beginning of the week and when we were about to leave, Abby the 6 y/o, asked if we could say a prayer so we all took our seats, as

"I can see Jesus in your eyes"

Hi Friends!! JUTTA WAS BAPTIZED THIS WEEKEND! Sorry for using my outside voice, but I am so thrilled! She is absolutely incredible, and she's setting a wonderful example for her family(which is already rubbing off, her husband John came to church the day she was confirmed and her daughter Scarlet wants to meet with us!) oh, the miracles that conversion can bring. Sister Jensen and I spoke and neither of us were super duper prepared to stand up and speak, but the Spirit is the MVP and saved the day, like usual. In other news, we were tracting one day and came upon a woman hardcore weeding a flowerbed so we stopped to help and ended up spending an extended amount of time with her as we ripped up all sorts of plants and dug up irises with our hands. We were able to get to know her a lot better that way and she talked about her conversion and the missionaries that met with her over the course of 5 years (LA, yup!) and how she'd stopped attending church when she remarried, but

General Conference and Singing to Stoners

Hey Hey Hey! How goes it? Ephrata is doing well, couple announcements before we begin: 1. Conference was phenomenal, if you didn't watch it, go do so now. One of my particular favorites was given Lynn G Robbins and I highly recommend it to anyone who has ever lived or breathed, especially to those who have done both. 2. We just got a car! The Elders in Quincy sideswiped their car so its going into the shop to get fixed mid-April. Said shop is in Ephrata, so we get to use the car until it needs to go in! what what!  Jutta is being baptized and confirmed this weekend! Its way exciting, she's absolutely thrilled. She met the elders the other day and as introduction she said "I'm Jutta, I'm getting baptized April 7th". isn't that the greatest? We watched conference with her, and she loved it! ah, she's amazing! We saw lots of little miracles this week, one of them being that we found a new investigator at approx 8:45 last night. We went by Jeff
