"Revolution!"

"What's another word for answers to prayers?" "--" "Rev-e-" "Revolution!" *cue laughter* "Revelation" Just a little snippet of our lesson with a boy named Dani on Thursday. I went to Wenatchee for exchanges with Hermana Falla(mom, the mountains 😍) and it was a party. Lol, but their area is mostly Spanish work, so we had an entire lesson in Spanish and my participation included: opening prayer (in SPANISH), holding the pictures as Hermana Falla talked, and bearing testimony in English which Hermana Falla translated :) and hugging Norma when we left :) all good things, all good things. I learned so much from those 24 hours, and that was my favorite part :) We finally saw Tiffany this week. Last week, we had an appointment, that she had reached out to us and made, and she didn't show, because she accidentally fell asleep. That girl works harder than anyone trying to take care of herself and Ronan(who gave me the cutest 2

"just keep asking me if I did my homework"

hello, hello!! The quote comes from Dakoda who hadn't read what we asked him to when we went to see him yesterday, so he ran inside when we were mid word and shouted "Mom! remind me to do my homework! Jus- Just keep asking me if I did my homework!" I could barely hold it in and it wasn't the only funny thing that he said that day.  Fun story: Last Monday we were walking back to our car after talking with Juttas kids for a little bit and these two guys drove up in a truck and one guy asked Sister wilcox if she has a snapchat, to which she said no, and the other guy asked me if I have a snapchat, and I said "No, but we can come to your house sometimes and talk with you about Jesus Christ?" They kinda hesitated and then asked what church we go to. WE got their names and an address, so nothin yet, but stay tuned for a story about Buster.  District Meeting has officially been changed to District Council, which was super cool. We all got together and we talk

We're the ukeladies!

*takes deep breath* Okay so there is a lot to talk about from this week and like 15 minutes to type this out because I am not good at time management and no I haven't learned that on my mission yet, obviously, thank goodness I still have like 7 1/2 months to go so I can learn how to fix that flaw lol. Any way, major events from the week: Zone Conference was superb! We drove up to Wenatchee for it and it was like an hour drive each way and so we ended up driving 109 miles that day, which is A LOT for us, but its cool it was totally worth it. Sister Jackman talked about earnestly building connections to Heaven(and specifically with each member of the Godhead, which I thought was super cool) we've been able to use that concept over the last couple of days as we've taught and because of the idea that attending church is what builds your connection with the Holy Ghost, WALLS CAME TO CHURCH YESTERDAY!!!!! I literally teared up and could not stop beaming. When Sister Jensen and

"What in the helk?"

Hey Hey Hey! sorry, I'm emailing later today, we went hiking! it was glorious. couple prime quotes from the week: Everett, who followed us on his bike with his little sister while we tracted on Tuesday:      "I found the girls!"       & we asked if he was going to go home- "not until you're done talking" Devyn, about his dad:       "he's making me upset" Walls, after describing how he had to scoot on his butt when he got his CT scan:       "ok, enough about my butt, enough butt talk" And of course, Joyce, who is in the subject line, in an attempt to catch herself But, my all time favorite was Peg, just yesterday.. She went to church last week, with her friend Donna, and then this week, called a member in our ward and asked to come with her. she then asked for a Book of Mormon. So yeah, we went by her house after church. We were sitting on her couch, trying to keep her dog Queen from making any moves on us, talking a

"Bearing your testimony is like jumping off a cliff"

Helloooo ... not sure what to call y'all Anywho. super great stuff this week (the subject is what a 12 year old said on the stand yesterday at church lol.. truth) Monday, we met Devyn, a super cool 17 y/o from Ellensburg who is staying here for the summer. He has a lot of LDS friends in Ellensburg and was fairly familiar with the Book of Mormon before we met him. We talked with him and invited him to be baptized that day. It was amazing to feel the Spirit there to testify to him of the truth of what we were saying. We met with him again on Wednesday and shared with him the Message of the Restoration and essentially asked him what he thought of the whole Joseph Smith thing. He had read part of Joseph Smiths testimony before we went over and he didn't see why anyone would make these things up. I saw even that as miracle, because there are so many people who have biased opinions before they even hear our message and choose to turn it down preemptively. He has been so prepared
