"What in the helk?"

Hey Hey Hey!

sorry, I'm emailing later today, we went hiking! it was glorious.

couple prime quotes from the week:

Everett, who followed us on his bike with his little sister while we tracted on Tuesday:
     "I found the girls!"
& we asked if he was going to go home- "not until you're done talking"
Devyn, about his dad:
      "he's making me upset"
Walls, after describing how he had to scoot on his butt when he got his CT scan:
"ok, enough about my butt, enough butt talk"
And of course, Joyce, who is in the subject line, in an attempt to catch herself

But, my all time favorite was Peg, just yesterday.. She went to church last week, with her friend Donna, and then this week, called a member in our ward and asked to come with her. she then asked for a Book of Mormon. So yeah, we went by her house after church. We were sitting on her couch, trying to keep her dog Queen from making any moves on us, talking about how she felt at Church that day, and where she wanted to go with all of this and baptism came up, so we asked her when she thought would be a good time. She wanted to ask Donna's opinion, so she calls her up right then, but had to leave a message: "Hey Donna, It's Peg. The missionary girls are here, and I want your opinion on when I should get baptized." we loved it, and we love her.

For the 4th, Sister Wilcox and I went around and gave a bunch of members and other people we had met sparklers, cause someone had given us close to 300, yeah. Lelani was so excited because her husband had forgotten to get them for the kids. And Declan, who is like 6 was thrilled because his dad just lost his job and didn't have the money to buy any, it was a fun, heartwarming day.

BREAKING NEWS: Walls has gone from 7 cigars a day to 2 CIGARS per day. Yes, its true. I am a witness of it. He is so excited!!!

I love you all "with my whole heart and soul" (how Walls describes his love for Franā¤)
Sister Shuldberg

p.s. I held a ferret and it used me as a toilet..
p.p.s. the license plate is for you, Dad

"This is Sister Shuldberg and Sister Jensen.. er no Sister Wilcox"

Oh, the adjustments that come with a new companion. and you'd think with how many times I've introduced Sister Wilcox to people, I would've known to answer the phone with her name.. guess not oh well, Hi Friends! (I can't not start my email with that, I'm on a 7 1/2 month roll) It seriously feels like its been 3 weeks since I emailed last.. and each day has felt like at least 3 days.. does that add up right?   Ephrata is lighting up y'all. funny thing about being a missionary, I get crazy excited about fairly minor things. For example, one of those miracles that I got to witness was as we talked to a man named Garrett. He did not seem interested, he actually looked almost amused, but as we continued talking with him and testified of the Book of Mormon, his expression softened. He accepted a copy and said we could come back. I'd never noticed peoples countenance change so clearly, it was cool to witness.  more miraculous, Debbie brought her boyfriend S...

He is a God of Miracles

Hi Friends! So.... Sister Zollinger is being transferred to Wenatchee, like forever away. going to miss her so much, but Terrace Heights is seriously on fire.  We saw so many miracles this week! The other day, Sister Zollinger remembered how President Lewis once said to ask Less Actives if we could practice lessons on them because lots of times they don't feel like they need lessons but its a way to help them feel the Spirit, so we figured we'd give it a shot. IT TOTALLY WORKED. We taught the Plan of Salvation to a less active elderly couple who hadn't been to church in a few years and halfway through the lesson, Sister Weldon was crying so hard that she couldn't read the scripture we gave her. It was so powerful to see the change in their countenance as we talked and afterward (and since) Brother Weldon has thanked us profusely for coming over. Its a really good feeling to be able to see people open their hearts to the Spirit. We also "practiced" th...

Who's ready to #LighttheWorld!?!?!

What's crackalackin? I'll tell you what,... I got my trunky call this week :( Basically that is when the office missionaries call you because you have 3 months left on your mission and they have to get info for flight plans.. :( I cried; I didn't expect it to come this fast or to be this sad.  On a happy note, Brad and Amanda are my fave people. We had an amazing lesson with them on Tuesday. We taught Brad about the gospel being restored through Joseph Smith and Amanda pretty much taught like 1/2 of it. She explained to him what the priesthood is and described the First Vision so well. We were so proud :) It has been amazing to see their growth in just the last few weeks and to hear them talk about the changes God has wrought in their lives and how excited they are for more changes. Brad got kind of emotional during our lesson as we talked about why he feels being baptized will be a blessing for him and his family. He talked about Sister McKnight and I and the impact w...
