"Why are you out bothering people?"

Hi Friends!

Fun Story: we went to visit a  man named Jose to whom we'd given a Book of Mormon and he said we could come back and talk more about it. It had been a while since we'd seen him, he wasn't home usually and we knocked on the door and I could not tell you what he looked like, so he could have answered the door and I wouldn't have known it. Well... a man answered the door and the conversation went as follows:

Me: "Hi! Is Jose here?"
Him: "No."
M: "Oh, okay." *I extend my hand* "Well, I'm Sister Shuldberg, what's your name?"
H: *no reaction to my outreached hand* "Jose... but I'm not interested.."

We still don't know if that was the Jose we originally met, or if there are multiple Jose's living there, or what, but we laughed about it.

In other news, we almost hit 60 degrees on Saturday! This isn't winter! And poor Arizonian Sister Fleming still wears her coat all day every day.

We didn't have a whole lot of  big exciting things happen this week, but I found an awesome scripture the other day during the best part of the day: Personal Study! It's 2 Ne 8:7. The part I loved was the second half which reads: "fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings." It led me to D&C 30:11: "And your whole labor shall be in Zion, with all your soul, from henceforth; yea, you shall ever open your mouth in my cause, not fearing what man can do, for I am with you. Amen." It was really cool to find cause being bold is kinda scary sometimes, but when we truly love His children and trust in him, there's no need to fear really anything. the one who can do EVERYTHING is on our side, so why fear those who can do almost nothing?

Fear Not everyone,
Much Love,
Sister Shuldberg

p.s. the note is from a woman we had an appointment to see, but she wasn't home. We wrote her a note back and left her a Restoration pamphlet.:) love y'all Sister Sheulburg ;)

It's so much fun. It. Has. Been. A week. We've had quite a bit of snow too, which cause some issues with commuting places.. and seeing how our two areas are full of small towns that are in the hills, its caused a kink in our plans (thumbs up). BUT, all is well because leading up to the catastrophic "snowmageddon" as they are calling it, were a ton of Miracles! Alrighty y'all take a seat, strap in, grab some popcorn. I got lots to share.  So, Monday night, it snowed a bunch, so we did District Council over FB video chat, which was fun lol, there was a lag, so the hymn singing was WAY OFF, but it was good. We had interviews and since we had to do that over FB too, I FB chatted with Sister Jackman, man I love that lady. She's so much like my...

"So, you're nuuunnnsss......???"

Hi Friends! (funny story at the end, so bear with me) We carved pumpkins last Pday, super fun. Sister Zollinger did the Logan temple. look up a picture of the Logan Temple to see how good she did, it's way impressive. We had exchanges on Wednesday!!! my first exchange! I was sooo nervous, but it actually went really well, a lot better than I thought it would at least. Sister Zollinger went with sister McCourt to a different area and Sister Banks came to Terrace heights and I had to take over Terrace Heights, cause Sister Banks didn't know where anything was or who our people are. I was terrified. Plus, pretty much everything I know about being a missionary has to do with Sister Zollinger in some way, shape, of form, so doing all of this with someone different was highly stressful. I t was good preparation for transfers, because as much as I hate to say it, there will come a time when Sister Zollinger and I are no longer companion.. *gasp* I know, I know, scary. Exchanges a...
