The Epistle of Karlee

HI Friends! So, no I'm not calling you all girls, ANA WAS BAPTIZED ON SATURDAY! and Sister Zollinger and I spent like 20 minutes trying to imitate how she says "girls" cause she's from the Dominican Republic and it sounds great. That's the way she always greets us :) Love her. Her baptism was absolutely wonderful. the Spirit was so strong and we were all crying, and grinning and ahhh it was so powerful.  Some weird things have happened this week. Tuesday at 12:30AM I woke up and started planning for the day, I woke Sister Zollinger and was so urgent about getting it done until she was like "WE'LL PLAN AT 6:30 WHEN WE USUALLY PLAN". yup. Guess I'm Just too excited about all things missionary. whoops.  Margaret is moved out!! Hi Friends! So today marks two months since I left home ( a little longer if you go by weeks instead of the date). Can you believe it? I know, I know you all miss me so much, it feels like it's been years, haha. I can't believe its been 2 whole months. I mean there have been plenty of days where it felt like it had been like 9, and we tell people so often that we do this for 18 months so it feels like I still have 18 months left instead of like 15 1/2 ish.  Aannywho, new train of thought: @ Mom THANK YOU for giving Lexi my email! Hi Friends!   Okay, so I  know that missions are supposed to be hard (and don't get too crazy, it's still hard) but it's way fun too! All these different people warning me that it would be so hard and all that got me super worried, but I LOVE it. there's something hard everyday, but there are MIRACLES everyday too, it's crazy.  We have so many Investigators that are doing so well and it baffles my mind to see their progress. It's truly isn't because of us. We're obedient and do our best to listen to the Spirit. EVERYTHING else is out of our hands. The highlight of this week was Ana, who I mentioned last week. Her baptismal date is set for November 25th and she's practically adopted us, she told us that God sent us to her and she's keeping us, sorry mom. :/ She's got such an affect on all the people that she meets too, She's gonna be the means of so many people coming closer to Christ, I can feel it.  We've got so many parents i...

​​Hi Friends! (funny story at the end, so bear with me) We carved pumpkins last Pday, super fun. Sister Zollinger did the Logan temple. look up a picture of the Logan Temple to see how good she did, it's way impressive. We had exchanges on Wednesday!!! my first exchange! I was sooo nervous, but it actually went really well, a lot better than I thought it would at least. Sister Zollinger went with sister McCourt to a different area and Sister Banks came to Terrace heights and I had to take over Terrace Heights, cause Sister Banks didn't know where anything was or who our people are. I was terrified. Plus, pretty much everything I know about being a missionary has to do with Sister Zollinger in some way, shape, of form, so doing all of this with someone different was highly stressful.
